Rest in peace, Dave

Folds of blue velvet undulate ever so slowly
— David Lynch

This is how the screenplay of the movie Blue Velvet opens. Isn’t this the most beautiful sentence to start a story?

Almost every day of the past week, David Lynch came up in my mind, in someway.

While talking about mentors, when I was writing, or taking pictures, or walking and seeing crows and haze, etc.

Last week I bought this typewriter and had to pick it up in a town I never seen before, and waiting for the train, I typed this.

Blue Velvet is for ever one of my biggest inspiration in all my art, and David's look on art will forever remain a motivation to keep going in my head.

His Youtube channel, his interviews, his music, everything beside his film making will remain essential to how I developed my thinking. But you know what...

LEGENDS NEVER DIE!!!

Beside his filmmaking and painting, I find the music taste and his relationship to sound utter interesting, more than any other creator. All the sounds are as melancholic, dark and gorgeous as his images, without one ever overshadowing the other.
His relationship to musicians also always fascinated me.
